Is There A Koreatown In Sf Bay Area? - soompi hangout

To answer that, it would be a lot cheaper (and a lot less stressful) to live in San Francisco without a car.

Seriously, you don't want to deal with the terrible parking (if you live in certain areas or travel to certain areas) and the gas prices up here (which tend to be higher than most of the state IIRC).

Living in outside of San Francisco and trying to commute in to SF via a car isn't really worth it, because you would have still deal with parking problems and traffic coming into the city. I know you want to study at AAU, and from what I know, nearly all of its campuses don't offer parking and the areas that they are located in are not car friendly (high traffic and very tough parking). Plus paying for tolls to cross a bridge is not cheap either and it adds up quickly (if you live in the east bay or north bay).

I've lived in SF all of my life and even though I own a car, I don't like to drive it around the city, because where I live is supposedly the worst neighborhood for parking in SF (Nob Hill/North Beach area).
