Canyon County Festival of Trees returns with fun events on Friday, Nov. 24
NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — Trees and vendors for the Canyon County Festival of Trees are open from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The event returns at the Ford Idaho Center.
Other fun events like Breakfast with Santa on Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Bingo on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. will also be available.
The Canyon Country Festival of Trees will support the Nampa and Caldwell Meals on Wheels programs.
"Now more than ever, the support is needed to make sure no senior goes hungry. We have seen the need in the Caldwell area alone increase by 30 percent. In fact, we currently need at least ten additional volunteers to add more delivery routes to meet demands," said Julie Warwick, festival board member and Caldwell Meals on Wheels Coordinator.
Tickets are available at the door only. The prices are $5 for adults, $3 for Seniors (62+) and $3 for Children (12 and under).
