NEW YORK (AP) — Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall, nearly killed by Russian bombs while reporting in Ukraine less than two years ago, returned to the country this week to interview Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Hall has endured dozens of surgeries since the March 14, 2022, blast. He lost his right leg below his knee and part of his left foot, the eyesight in his left eye and suffered burns across his body.

Lithuania has announced a ban on passenger pick-ups and drop-offs for trains running to and from the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad beginning next week. The ban, which takes effect on March 1, is part of Vilnius’ decision to close two crossings on its border with neighboring Belarus after two other crossings were closed in the summer of 2023.  “[The new restrictions aim to] manage traffic, choke off smuggling, ensure international sanctions and reduce traffic security risks,” Lithuania’s Interior Minister Agne Bilotaite said Thursday.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed Tuesday that New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and ex-pro wrestler and former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura are among his preferred running mates. Kennedy, 70, told the New York Times that Rodgers and Ventura were “at the top of his list” to join the 2024 ticket, while two sources told the paper the men had “welcomed” the candidate’s approaches. “Yes, Mr. Kennedy did share with the New York Times that he’s considering Aaron Rodgers and Jesse Ventura as running mates along with others on a short list,” a campaign rep confirmed The Post Tuesday evening without elaborating.
